Allowing himself in, Goku called out softly to Vegeta, whom was currently sitting down on the sofa in the living room. Before him, sat an unopen can of beer, perspiring from being in room temperature for too long and a pack of cigarettes, still in the plastic wrapper, untouched.

"Vegeta?" tried Goku, wanting to gain his princes attention. It's not like he wanted to disturb the older saiyan but he had finally found Vegeta, after searching all over Orange City for him like Bulma had suggested.

But that hunt had led him no where and Goku had decided to end it and just crash at Bulma's place until Vegeta returned.

Whom would of thought Vegeta had been in the living room the entire time.

Goku had guessed if he hadn't IM upstairs, prior to his search, he would of known of Vegeta's whereabouts but Goku justified his aloofness by the fact that if Vegeta wasn't in the gravity room chamber, training; his prince was usually upstairs watching TV or preoccupying himself with blowing up insignificant things in his hand to pass the time.

Once, he had found Vegeta reading up on the back history of Earth and a few books from other planets but whenever he asked, Vegeta would show his annoyance to him and remind him that he wouldn't understand because he's such a baka, whom has a low-one track attention span.

That had deeply hurt Goku but he laughed it off like he always did when Vegeta said cruel things to him.

One of the reasons why he was searching for his saiyan prince in the first place, was so that they could have a go at their usual spar. Well techincally, Goku figured it will be their real late spar, if Vegeta complied, since he spent all day searching for him.

Today, Goku had sort of slept in and well... he had hoped to make it up to Vegeta by maybe taking his prince out for a night of fun later, with drinks on him, of course.

But after seeing that Vegeta had left his beer untouched and his pack of cigarettes, maybe Vegeta would still like to go somewhere with him. Where his prince could enjoy himself and hopefully not make a spectical while he treat Vegeta to dinner instead.

That's if he could get Vegeta to agree to go and if he did manage to accomplish that difficult task than Goku could always use his wife's credit card to pay the bill, until he himself could pay Chi Chi back, since he was low on cash.

In the meantime, to not gain his wife's suspicion, he could preoccupy her by making love to Chi Chi for a few extra hours to drift her mind from the amount that would eventually come up on her credit card slip for that month.

Then after treating his prince for the night, tomorrow, during the morning, he could wake up extra early and come back to Bulma's place. Quietly make Vegeta a classic saiyan breakfast before he woke up and maybe just give his prince the match for the day, to hold off any negative responses he might of stirred up.

In a way, Goku could also clear up a curiosity he had held of his prince. He was kind of curious of how his prince would react when he won. Especially against him.

Deep down inside, Goku hoped Vegeta wouldn't go all high and mighty on him and gloat but instead, smirk at his um 'victory'. Goku also hoped Vegeta wouldn't do something that would involve degrading him. Like making him kiss his boots or make him act as his servant, since Vegeta relished in that sort of power trip.

Instead, Goku hoped Vegeta would treat him like he treated his prince in the past.

By letting the win flow off of him like water and maybe shake his hand in good sportmanship.

That would be ideal but Goku knew reality. That sort of behavior was beneath his prince and Vegeta would never do that but what hurt would come from it to just want that scenerio.

So, Goku shook it from his head.

Goku approached Vegeta. Padding softly across the carpeted floor to directly behind his prince. Bending over the sofa top, Goku outstretched his arms and hugged the back; resting his hands on each cushioned pillow as he peeked over Vegeta's shoulder.

He had wanted to try and get a idle look at to what was preoccuping his prince's attention from him.

Goku hadn't masked his ki when he entered the living room and in a way, it troubled him, that Vegeta didn't take notice of his arrival, in case of an attack.

But he was unsuccessful. Vegeta's upswept hair was blocking whatever held his princes attention from his view.

Figures.

Walking around the blue piece of furniture, Goku stood before his prince and sighed. Vegeta still didn't know he was there.

Instead, he studied the package that was in Vegeta's lap and than at his prince's face, which was not set in his usual scowl but of interest and fondness.

Maybe if he voiced the question cropping in his mind, Vegeta would acknowledge him at last, "What do you have there, Vegeta?" asked Goku, allowing his own curiosity to slip in his voice. He sat himself down next to his prince and hoped it was okay with his senior beside him.

Goku was relieved that so far Vegeta hasn't lashed out at him or asked him to leave with his colorful language. That was something his regal saiyan prince did when he was tarty or plain on forgetful with time and missed agreements.

"Nothing really," came the deep gravel voice of his prince, "It's a gift basket. It came in the mail this afternoon." Vegeta touched every curve, trying to figure out what laid inside the wrapped basket. It felt like something rectangular underneath the pink plastic grass; a box maybe.

He turned his head to Kakarrotto, half acknowledging the younger saiyan.

The baka sure had a knack at coming when he didn't want him around, thought Vegeta, a frown coming to surface on his face.

As much as it was amusing to watch his rival fidget, as he frowned outside but smirked inside, Vegeta still, wasn't sure if he should open the package or not.

What if it ended up being something unpleasant?

It could very well be sent from Yamcha as a prank, since he's to sissy to face him man-to-man in a real fight. That lame excuse of a Z warrior has it in for him and it's not just for winning the girl in the end. He always seemed to be around his wife, suggesting something, like she was cheating on him with that poor excuse of a human.

But Vegeta knew his wife. Bulma would never betray him. They had Trunks together.

Instead, he was certain that it held something special from some mysterious sender.

Now his problem was, whether he should share this with Kakarrotto or not. It was his choice.

"Huh,...from who," blurted out Goku without much thought to his prince's feeling, as he pushed all politeness aside and got to the point. Nice Goku. You're sure gaining points with Vegeta, thought the earth-saiyan, berating himself with his slip of a tongue.

After realizing his mistake, Goku felt his cheeks heat. His body already shifting into auto-pilot. Revealing his guilt by making him blush madly. Or also, when he tried to lie.

Inwardly, Goku knew that it was rude to ask. Especially a friend. It was personal information. "Your friend will share it if they want." Chi Chi had told him that.

But ever since he got a peek at to what his prince was focusing all his attention on, Goku really wanted to know. He wondered how many friends Vegeta had on Earth, besides the z warriors and himself.

Goku wondered if maybe one of them had given it to him.

Why else would Vegeta be looking at the wrapped package so fondly?

So, Goku couldn't help but be curious, he reasoned and once again, Goku tried to convince his mind that. So as to wipe away the pink that was still flaring across his cheeks.

Vegeta arched a black brow and was about to say something terse to Kakarrotto, when in a moments time, he backed down and just shrugged it off, looking away. Not sure himself either, who sent it, "I really don't know, Kakarroto. But it was sent to me," he said in a gruff voice.

"Oh," thought Goku outloud, 'Did he just miss something, because; why was Vegeta not yelling at him to mind his own business and get the fuck out of his house?' "Did you win it or something?" asked Goku, taking another go at it and trying to assist his prince in discovering where the package might of came from, beside inside the mailbox.

"I don't know," replied Vegeta, equally confused. He too, didn't really know where it came from but that his name was specifically on it.

"A secret admirer maybe?" suggest Goku, than closed his mouth as quickly, biting his cheek to stop himself from talking. 'Was his mouth a motor these day?'

"Kakarrotto."

Vegeta's reply was: angry, stern, annoyed. The Vegeta he knew.

Goku smiled at that familiarity, as he rubbed the back of his head, sheepishly. He even inched a bit from his prince's side and tried to clamp his mouth shut before the next question could slip out.

'Uh oh, I bet I said something stupid. Or maybe I just annoyed him beyond his usual tolerant annoyance level. Either way, it wasn't looking good for me.' thought Goku, grimly, "Yeah Vegeta?"

Goku felt like he was treading on water now, especially since Vegeta had yet to stop sending death signals his way. It didn't help that he was sitting so close to his prince and that his leg was very close in brushing against Vegeta's by the slightest movement on his part.

"I'm married and have Trunks. Why in the world would I have a secret admirer. Hmmm?" Vegeta wasn't expecting an answer.

"Well, you are cute." admitted Goku and froze by his response, 'Did he just say that?!' Shooken by the way he was behaving.

"I'm..." Vegeta was a lost of words. His face even paled a bit.

Goku began to panic, 'Oh crap! I'm a Deadman!' he thought franctically, 'Maybe if I distract his attention, he'll forget.' "Um... So, wh- what are you going to do with the gift, Vegeta?"

Vegeta was still in a daze, sort of hearing the question yet not ready to respond at the time. Some color did regain in his face but mostly in his cheeks.

Goku fidgeted more, uncomfortable and there's was nothing he could do to change that. He did this to himself.. Made his bed and he must now lie in it. Even if that meant in a tailored black suit with flowers in his hands and a funernal succession at his side, that made up of his family and friends, mourning by his unforunate violent death.

As the minutes passed in silence, one minute Goku was doodling with his thumbs. The next, he was picking off imaginary lint from on his orange gi. The same gi he wore every single day, except on special occassions.

'Kami, what have I done and why me!?' whined the shattered taller saiyan, as he hyperventalated in his mind, 'I would say something stupid like that! I am a BAKA!' proclaimed Goku, going a bit overboard.

The reason for Goku's bizarre behavior was because, since his fusion with Vegeta with the earrings before they're release from being swallowed by Buu, he became more sensitize and conscious of the things around him and of what he said around his friends. Especially these days.

Truth be told, being around Vegeta makes his mind go all foggy and numb in a way. Forgetting to think first then speak.

' Saying that your friend was cute, was well...insane! He had never! Never thought or said anything like that until... until he met Vegeta and only after their joinment! '

Right now, Goku couldn't quite get the nerve to look up at his prince but Goku did manage to jerk out of his thoughts when he heard Vegeta's mellow voice filter into his ear.

"Well... even though it is unknown of who sent it, I still want to see what's inside, before I decide to insinigrate it or not but it's kind of hard to do so, when the wrapping foil was a dark shade of maghony," smirked Vegeta in a nasty scowl, "I was actually about to open it, when you came in," trailed off Vegeta, as he went back into his dazed state.

Vegeta wasn't quite sure how he felt about what Kakarrotto had said or was implying. 'Was it just somethings human friends say to each other to make the other person happy or did the baka mean "cute" like he was brat-cute or if Kakarrotto was making a pass at him.

Either which, he was still...deciding, what he should do about it.'
