.:: Don't Take What's Mine ::.

Saitou approached the younger man, tossing his cigarette aside. He tapped the tip of his blade against the paved alleyway, "I see that you are busy but I believe it's passed your curfew, boy."

"Who the fuck do you think you are asshole?!" The boy yelled, startled, dropping the passed out violet eyed rurouni he cleverly tricked and was about to have fun with.

"I happen to be an officer of the law and although you may laugh at my status," Saitou tipped his hat back, revealing his golden eyes, "I very much can easily carve your pitiful excuse of a human existence into pieces with the lift of my blade."

"You're bluffing. You can't kill me regardless of the crime I commit."

"Oh how sweet. Where did you hear that one boy? If you haven't noticed, I'm not your typical usual officer."

"My uncle is part of the police force and there are rules you have to follow."

"If you give me his name, I'll gladly deliver you in a body bag for no charge. It's the least I could do for a fellow officer."

"I-..."

A weak groan pulled Saitou away from his activities. 'It looks like the Battousai is waking up. Just a little more and the kid will split.'

"And believe me when I say, I will have pleasure in doing so. You're choice."

"..."

"What will it be boy. Face me or live another day."

Saitou smiled pleased as the boy ran off. It was just one of those night's where he didn't feel like killing. He did but he couldn't. Not with the righteous Himura Kenshin at his feet, even if passed out like an imbecile. How would he explain the shed blood and the boys death with the rurouni there accusing him with those piercing violet eyes.

"S...Saitou?"

"The one and only."
