::Kakashi and Iruka's Relationship::.

Whom would of thought that Hatake Kakashi, a respected jounin of the upper-class community, as well as the Legendary Copy Ninja of Konoha and Umino Iruka, a warm-hearted school teacher that teaches at the Ninja Academy, as well as an inactive chuunin, with no impressive record that we are aware of, would have some sort of fling, relationship, whatever you want to call it,. . . with each other.

To the reader, their potential as a canon couple is non-existent in the manga/anime world, except for the occasional hints Kishimoto sends out, that only begins to skim the surface, that'll leave you guessing whether there is something going on between the two instructors or if the interested reader is looking too much into things, for their own purposes.

But to us, to the yaoi or shounen ai fan, as most of us are from the female gene pool, there are worlds of possibility for these two lost souls from a hazardous profession that calls out for some sort of love in any form available.

Whether friendly, comradeship, romantic, conceited, or possessive in nature.

But let's not diddle around with that and instead look at the facts Kishimoto made groundwork for us in the anime & manga.

Here is a list of things that Kakashi and Iruka have in common with each other.

1. Both are instructors
2. Both are shinobi's of the Konoha armed forces.
3. Both know of loss and loneliness
4. Both had lost someone dear to them during the Kyuubi attack 12 years ago
4. Both taught Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura in the ninja arts
5. Both are very fond of Naruto
6. Both are protective and will do anything to retain that
7. Both have pleasant personalities, even though Iruka does have a temper on him and Kakashi tends to do things in a certain way, that annoys others (Mainly to the people that he cares about the most, like trying to tell Iruka in a nice way, that Team 7 is ready for the real world even though Iruka was doubtful, until proven otherwise)

Now let's look at the individuals, themselves. Of what each thought of the other when they first met or heard from rumors.
