"Kurama, what the hell do you think you were doing?! You almost got hit by a bus!?" Yuusuke shoved the 500 year old fox demon into the alley. The ruby haired boy hit squarely into the wall. The spirit detective leader had him pinned by his arms, "Hey! I asked you a question!" He shook the older boy.

Kurama giggled and swatted at the pretty colors flying around him.

Yuusuke looked at him incredulously. Then it dawned on him. "I can't believe it! Kurama, are you on acid!?" it originally was suppose to come out in a soft disbelief whisper but it was instead a full-blown out shout.

A boy, wearing a pink uniform ran up to the two, breathing heavily. "Urenmenshi! Urenmeshi! It isn't Shuuichi's fault! One of the boys in school pulled a prank and everyone in the third period lunch hall was affected."

"Then why in the world is he out in the streets!? What kind of brain-dead school system do you have?!"

"Two-third of the students from the cafeteria were able to get pass the teachers. Now all available students are trying to round up the one's that were drugged. We are to take them home afterwards, until it wears off. And if the parents aren't home, stay with them at all times, till they do or the drug wears off."

"So what are you doing here?"

"I was assigned to Shuuichi. Though, out of all the students, it looks like he got the symptoms worst."

"No shit, sherlock!"

Shingo hung his head in shame. "I'm sorry, it's just Shuuichi, was to fast for me..."

"No, it's alright. This is just so shocking to me. You did pretty well kid. Kurama, is a top notch runner. It's very hard to keep up with him..." he explained, drifting off, knowing that only person can match the haughty fox spirit and that was Hiei.
